How much is 1 kg of burger seasoning at Al Laith?
Beef burger seasoning is EGP 370 per kg and chicken burger seasoning is EGP 325 per kg, excluding sales tax. Both come in 1 kg and 5 kg packs and 15 and 25 kg bags. Delivery is free inside Cairo; other governorates pay the courier's fee, which we tell you when you order. All other prices are on the Al Laith price list.
How much meat does 1 kg of burger seasoning cover?
Short answer: 1 kg of beef burger seasoning seasons 25 kg of minced meat, because the dose on the product page is 40 g per kg. So:
- a 5 kg pack covers 125 kg of meat;
- a 15 kg bag covers 375 kg;
- a 25 kg bag covers 625 kg;
- chicken burger seasoning is dosed at 35–40 g per kg, so 1 kg covers about 25–28 kg of minced chicken.
It is pre-salted, so there is no separate salt to buy or adjust. From the number of patties you get per kg of meat, you can work out the seasoning share of each patty yourself.
Supermarket sachet or restaurant pack?
Small 50–100 g sachets are made for home cooking. A restaurant needs a fixed dose of 40 g per kg every shift, one price per kg for easy food costing, packs that match its volume (1 kg to try, 5 kg for a small shop, 15 or 25 kg for chains and central kitchens) and a pre-salted blend that removes a step and salt mistakes.
Why separate beef and chicken burger seasonings?
Chicken has a mild taste that beef seasoning covers. So we keep two products: beef burger seasoning for beef patties and smash burgers, and chicken burger seasoning tuned for minced chicken, which also works for chicken kofta. If your menu has both, order them together.
What changes the cost besides the price per kg?
Waste. A patty that crumbles or shrinks loses meat. Mix with a light hand (overworking makes patties dense), shape the meat cold, cook on a well-preheated griddle over medium heat and flip once. Chicken burgers must be fully cooked to 74 °C / 165 °F in the centre. If patties fall apart, add the burger & kofta binder (EGP 340 per kg): 5 g water + 40 g binder per kg at 20% fat.
How do I work out my monthly need?
Multiply the kg of meat you mince a day by 40 g. A shop mincing 10 kg of burger meat a day needs 400 g of seasoning a day — about 12 kg a month over 30 days, so a 15 kg bag lasts over a month and a 5 kg pack about 12 days. A shop mincing 3 kg a day needs about 3.6 kg a month, so a 5 kg pack fits better. Order to your usage and store it dry, away from sun and humidity.
